22 Jump Street

22 Jump Street is an action comedy that came to theatres in 2014. Famous actors such as Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill starred in the film and also produced it. This movie is a sequel to 21 Jump Street. It was released on January 13th, 2014. Worldwide the film made $331 million.

This film is a continuation of the 21 Jump Street program where Jenko (Channing Tatum), and Schmidt (Jonah Hill), are back chasing druggies. Their mission in this movie is to figure out who is the “Ghost” or drug dealer. Both have to play a younger character because they are put into college. Their assignment is to go undercover and figure out who is supplier of a drug called “WHY-PHY”. At college, alliances are made along with new friendships that help uncover who the supplier is. Jenko becomes friends with Zook (Wyatt Russell), and Rooster (Jimmy Tatro), while Schmidt becomes a loner and a nerd, and becomes best friends with Maya (Amber Stevens). Jenko joins the football team and Schmidt starts feeling left out while he learns poetry and acting in Theatre class. Later on, spring break commences and Jenko and Schmidt go on a chase to get the ghost. The Ghost flees, Jenko gets shot in the arm, and tries to hold onto helicopter that the Ghost is trying to escape on. Jenko falls along with Schmidt, but they are able to throw a grenade in the helicopter. The helicopter goes down along with Ghost in it. Jenko explains to Schmidt that he wants to be a police officer. The scenes later in the movie show the different trips that they take while they are undercover.

    I would highly recommend seeing the first movie, and this one. I think it’s comical and action filled. The story plot isn’t boring and it’s really entertaining. I really enjoy Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, I think they make movies better together.
